Thermark Label Tapes. In-house label printing.
Thermark Garment Identification Labels are primarily used to mark, identify, sort and track garments and linens within a laundry processing or textile manufacturing environment. They are commonly applied to uniforms; workwear; career wear; hospital garments; hospital and nursing home linens; nursing home resident garments; and hotel and restaurant linens. The labels are manufactured with a finely woven 100% polyester substrate, which is encapsulated by an engineered polymer top coating and a high-melt heat seal backing. The label surface is resistant to discolouration, is able to withstand high abrasion, and is formulated to be receptive to indelible thermal transfer ink ribbons, which create an imprint that can be exposed to heavy industrial, institutional and bleach launderings. Thermark label tapes are also available in a format that is geared for flatwork linen presses, and are capable of direct iron contact through the calender process.
Thermark label tapes are available in a range of perforated metric sizes, as well as non-perforated pressure sensitive labels that are supplied on a silicone backing paper. The pressure sensitive labels allow for temporary positioning prior to heat seal application. The tapes are assembled in roll formats that are compatible with select thermal printer models from Avery Dennison®, CAB and TSC™. These systems can be paired with user software interfaces or with standalone label programs. Customers are able to create identification and barcode labels in-house, which can be quickly heat seal applied.
