Rugged and vibrant, sublimation printed twill emblems.
SubliPrint™ Emblems are manufactured using four-colour process dye-sublimation systems, where images are printed onto transfer sheets with specially formulated sublimation inks. Under high temperature and pressure, designs are transferred onto a white 100% polyester twill fabric using heat seal equipment. The twill fabric has a very smooth surface, specifically developed to enhance design image quality and depth of colour. The sublimation process allows the inks to penetrate into the fibres of the base materials where they become permanently embedded. As a result of this "re-dying" technique, designs will not crack, peel or fade under normal commercial and industrial laundry conditions, where temperatures do not exceed 375℉ (190℃).
White fabric is normally used in the sublimation process so that design colours are not distorted by darker fabric shades. However, it is possible to use some darker materials or even some high visibility fabrics, when images are transferred in black. Design colours can be chosen from the SubliPrint™ pallet of standard colours, or can be closely matched to Pantone® colour references, within a four-colour process format. Images with photo-realistic, gradient, shadow and fine line elements can be reproduced, and other creative features can be added, such as watermarks, graphical backgrounds, solid or simulated-Merrow borders, QR codes and name inserts. SubliPrint™ Emblems are usually finished with a Merrow border, and can be formatted to a wide variety of sizes and shapes, where Merrow borders are not required. Emblems are produced with a choice of Velcro® or high-melt glue backing for heat seal application, and they can also be sewn onto variety of sportswear and workwear garments. The emblems are removable, allowing for garment re-use or re-branding.
