LowProfile® Embroidered Emblems are defined by a few key characteristics. They are produced without Merrow borders; are often created with full-coverage embroidery; and relative to the original design, are often custom cut to shape. Given those properties, the emblems appear to lie flatter when applied to garments, and in many cases resemble direct embroidery. The emblems are manufactured with 100% polyester twill fabrics and 100% polyester embroidery threads, with up to 15 colours per design. An Embroidered Epaulet, sometimes referred to as a “slip-on” or “shoulder-loop”, is usually worn in pairs on the shoulders of service, military or club uniforms, to signify membership, level or rank. They are manufactured with 100% polyester twill fabrics and 100% polyester embroidery threads, with up to 15 colours per design. They can be formatted into various sizes, and are commonly produced in rectangular or quadrilateral shapes.
GLOW IN THE DARK!
GLOW IN THE DARK FOR FUN, OR FOR SAFETY.
Embroidered GloDark Emblems are manufactured with 100% polyester twill fabrics and 100% polyester embroidery threads, where at least one of the design colours is stitched with a formulated fluorescent or photo-luminescent thread. The “GloDark” thread emits a glowing, greenish hue in extremely low-light and dark conditions, indoors or outdoors, with only that part of the design visible. Design elements can be embroidery with a combination of standard and GloDark threads, or with GloDark threads only.

MULTIPLE FABRIC LAYERS FOR REDUCED EMBROIDERY COVERAGE AND ADDED DIMENSION AND TEXTURE.
Embroidered Appliqué Emblems are manufactured with 100% polyester twill fabrics, and 100% polyester embroidery threads, with up to 15 thread colours per design. During the embroidery process, pre-cut pieces of fabric are stitched into the designs onto the base material as an alternative to filling larger sections of the pattern with thread. These extra layers of different coloured fabrics add an integrated element of texture within the designs, and generally reduces the amount of embroidery stitches and embroidery time required to complete each emblem. The number of fabric colours and pieces used is relative to the design and the desired look. The emblems are generally produced in larger sizes, and are commonly applied to the backs of uniforms and jackets, and are often used to embellish sports jerseys. The larger emblem size is ideal for the use of fabric as an alternative to thread, and allows for easier placement and positioning of the inserted fabric pieces.

Embroidered Glitter Emblems
GLITTER THREAD FOR ADDED FLARE.
Embroidered Glitter Emblems are manufactured with aluminum coated, metallised polyester threads that create a two-tone antique glitter effect. Designs can be embroidered with glitter threads only, or in combination with regular 100% polyester threads. Similar to Custom Embroidered and LowProfile® Emblems, Embroidered Glitter Emblems can be created with up to 15 thread colours per design, and they can be formatted into many different shapes and sizes. The emblems can be finished with or without a Merrow border, and are produced with a choice of low-melt glue or non-woven backings. The emblems can be heat sealed or sewn onto a wide variety of garments and uniforms, are removable, and are commercial launderable.
